On Thursday, April 3rd at 7:30pm the Learning Disabilities Association will be joined by two guest speakers at the Health Sciences Centre in order to host a panel to discuss issues of comorbidity between Learning Disabilities and Mental Health Issues. While one-in-ten Canadians are diagnosed with a Learning Disability, 30-40% of those diagnosed are also experience mental health issues. LDANL is committed to exploring the link between LDs and Mental Health issues, and opening discussion about the difficulties faced by those who experience both.
