NBA All Star 2016

This February, NBA All-Star 2016 will take place in Toronto for a global celebration of the game.  This is the first All Star to be held in Canada.

To build momentum for the NBA All-Star game coming to Canada, a nationwide program is taking place in all 10 provinces from November through February.

The Bell NBA All-Star Challenge presented by AIR MILES is a free event that invites basketball players ages 14 and older to partake in a three-point shooting contest, skills challenge and/or a dunk contest in St. John’s.  Players under the age of 18 must have a parent sign a waiver form to compete.  The top scores nationally from these competitions will be awarded an all-expenses paid trip to compete at the Bell NBA All-Star National Championships at All-Star 2016 in Toronto.  Former Toronto Raptor Jerome Williams (“Junk Yard Dog”), Franklin (Philadelphia 76ers Mascot) and the LuvaBulls (Chicago Bulls Dancers) will be at the event this Saturday November 21, 2015 to interact with fans in St. John’s.
