Memorial University Entrance Scholarships-Important Changes

Important Change to MUN Early Entrance Scholarship offers.  Memorial University is moving forward with a new early scholarship offer process.  They are no longer seeking recommendations from schools to identify eligible candidates for early offers.  They are now asking students to indicate their interest in being considered for an early scholarship offer by applying to Memorial and submitting a copy of their February mid-term grade report by march 1, 2016.  Grade reports can be mailed to the Admissions office or emailed to admiss.docs@mun.ca.  (Please note that this email is for receiving documents only and all inquiries regarding scholarships should be sent to scholarships@mun.ca

In addition to the February grade report, a supplementary application for the Memorial University of Newfoundland Alumni Entrance Scholarships and Dr. Leslie Harris Memorial University Alumni Association Scholarships is required.  The selection committee will consider those applicants who have an outstanding academic record, together with scholastic and extra-curricular achievements at the provincial, national and/or international levels, along with school and/or community involvement/achievements.

The student application form for the Dr. Leslie Harris Memorial University Alumni Association and Memorial University of Newfoundland Alumni Entrance Scholarships, is available at http://www.mun.ca/scholarships/scholarships/entrancestudents/newfoundlandandlabrador.php  and should be downloaded for completion.

Any questions can be directed to the guidance office.
