COLLEGE OF THE NORTH ATLANTIC – ANNUAL SKILLED CAREER DAY (REGISTRATION FOR EVENTS THIS WEEK)
The Annual Skilled Career Day IS taking place on Friday, April 8 at College of the North Atlantic- Prince Philip Drive Campus. It features the Annual Provincial Competitions in skilled trades, technology and employability areas at College of the North Atlantic- Prince Philip Drive Campus. Over one thousand participants are expected at this year’s installment as a variety of events will take place such as: a career showcase, hands-on Try-A-Trade® demonstrations, campus tours, a young women’s conference, leadership conference, the provincial competitions and so much more!
FIELD TRIP (2 HOURS, 9:00-11:00am) –
Students can participate in the campus tour on this date. Tours last two hours and participants will have the opportunity to explore hands-on Try-A-Trade® demonstrations, the career showcase, the Skills Canada Provincial Competitions and the CNA- Prince Philip Drive Campus.

Skills Work for Women® Conference (FULL DAY, 9:00-3:00) –
Skills Canada is also delivering a Skills Work for Women® Conference during the event,
Skills Work for Women® Conferences generally are divided into a two-part day:
-In the morning, participants explore hands-on Try-A-Trade® demonstrations in a variety of different skilled trade areas.
-After lunch, participants will have the opportunity to speak with female mentors who will share their story of working in the skilled sector, along with any challenges and successes they have experienced.
