RCMP Youth Engagement

The RCMP is pleased to offer to a select group of grade 11-12 students from across Canada an opportunity to learn about and experience the work of an RCMP officer.

Up to thirty-two students will be chosen to attend the RCMP Academy, located in Regina Saskatchewan, from November 6-10, 2017.  The selection of students will be based on the academic achievement, community engagement and their interest in law enforcement.  It is desirable for the students to possess a valid driver’s license.

There will be a variety of activities planned for the students to interact with police officers from various units of the RCMP.  These interactions will provide them with a better understanding of what life is like for members of the RCMP.  Activities will include police training classes, drill classes, police driver’s training classes, firearms range (observers), tours of Depot and the RCMP Heritage Center and much more!

There will be 2 students selected from the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: September 30th, 2017
