Youth Inclusion Leader is a certificate program offered by the Recreation Division of the City of St. John’s that focuses on developing a leader’s advocacy for inclusion in recreation and leisure settings. Topics to be explored are: empathy, mentorship, multiculturalism, ability, gender identity and mental health. Our leadership programs are an excellent opportunity for youth to gain some field experience, get certifications, volunteer opportunities and build their resumes.
Details of the Youth Inclusion Leader course that the City of St. John’s are offering at Gonzaga High School are as follows:
Date: NEW START DATE on Wednesdays beginning Feb 7, 2018 (9 week program)
Time: 3:30 to 5:30pm
Ages: 14 to 18 years
Note: Maximum registration of 11 youth participants
Our Youth & Inclusion Services Staff will deliver the program.
While this program is open for public to register we always highly encourage students at Gonzaga to take advantage of this awesome program in their very own school!
